Happy Turkey Day!
Well, it was a nice surprise this morning to wake up to an internet connection that is actually working properly. So, here are some of the pictures from yesterday! :)

Oh my gosh, I’m seriously SO excited to try this. You guys have no idea. Basically I’m just proud that I made my very first pie completely from scratch. One thing knocked off the bucket list! (Kidding. Sorry, I love baking, but my bucket list is filled with things that are a little more daring than making a pie. That’s just more my style.) Haha :)

Oh gosh, looking at this picture reminds me just how thankful I am for such beautiful and wonderful friends. I kind of think it’s cliche to write about what you’re thankful for on Thanksgiving, just because EVERYONE does it, but I honestly am so grateful to have such amazing people in my life. I don’t have any idea how I got this lucky, and most of the time I don’t deserve it, but I honestly do appreciate it every single day.
Well, this is the best morning thus far since I have been home. It’s early, yes, but I am the only one awake. The house is completely quiet and I am in heaven being able to sit and write a blog post with only the sound of the clicking keys. Trust me, it’s a good sound. :)
It’s time to go start getting ready to tackle this crazy day! Expect a post later tonight filled with loads of pictures!
