
Cinnamon Oatmeal with Apples
- 1/2 cup whole grain oats
- Pinch of salt
- 1 3/4 cups of water
- Ground Cinnamon (as little or as much as you like)
- Sweetener (I used 2 packets of Splenda)
- Chopped up apple pieces
- Combine dry oats, salt and water in a bowl and microwave for about 3 minutes on high (it will still be watery)
- Mix in apple pieces and put back in the microwave for about 2 more minutes (depends on the microwave)
- Let it sit for a few minutes for the oatmeal to thicken
- Mix in the cinnamon and Splenda
- Voila! Enjoy!
