Cinnamon Oatmeal with Apples

  • 1/2 cup whole grain oats
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 3/4 cups of water
  • Ground Cinnamon (as little or as much as you like)
  • Sweetener (I used 2 packets of Splenda)
  • Chopped up apple pieces
  1. Combine dry oats, salt and water in a bowl and microwave for about 3 minutes on high (it will still be watery)
  2. Mix in apple pieces and put back in the microwave for about 2 more minutes (depends on the microwave)
  3. Let it sit for a few minutes for the oatmeal to thicken
  4. Mix in the cinnamon and Splenda
  5. Voila!  Enjoy!
